We are a family owned and operated business
located in beautiful, rural Berks County, Pennsylvania. The business was started as a small Christmas tree operation
in the early 1960's by founder, Miles Henninger. Today, we offer a wide variety of container shrubbery, perennials,
grasses, herbs, fruit trees, Christmas trees, field grown shade and flowering trees, plus rare and unusual pieces (weeping
and dwarf evergreens). We also offer a wide selection of Bonsai in various sizes, along with all of the supplies needed
to create your own masterpiece and care for it in years to come. We have 8 greenhouses and farm about 25 acres
of trees. We participate in many shows throughout the year, hold three open houses, and two plant auctions annually
at the nursery.
We are proud to have our third generation involved in the day to day operation of the business,
and a friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you choose the best plants and solutions for all of your gardening needs.
Your gardening success is our top priority! We are a "Direct From The Grower" nursery, this means that you
are getting hardy stock at very competitive prices, grown right here in Berks County. We strive to give our customers
the best quality plants, products and services possible. We also offer landscape design, tree and landscape installation
services. For those of you who prefer to do your own planting, but don't have access to a truck, we offer delivery services
for a minimal fee. You may come and choose your own trees in our fields or have us choose them for you. There
are literally 1000's to choose from! All of our field grown stock remains in-ground until it is tagged; this causes
the plants much less stress.
In
1997, we added a full service garden center and gift shop to accommodate the one-stop-shopper. We carry a large selection
of home and garden accents for personal enjoyment or gift giving. Such as... hand tuned wind chimes, garden flags, gazing
balls, concrete statuary and bird baths, pond supplies plus a whole lot more. We offer the newest and most innovative
garden accessories for all of your gardening needs. There is more to a garden than plants. Using accessories in
your garden, gives it a splash of color, purpose and personality.
